Anovasoft SoftRescue™ Pro is the most powerful and accurate software tool for transferring your software, games, files, and email from your old (source) PC to your new (target) PC. You can also use it every time you reinstall Windows on one of your computers. SoftRescue Pro extracts a copy of the content on your old PC without deleting any data.

This Quick Start Manual will show you how easy it is to use, and guides you through the preparations you need to do on your computers. Your license for SoftRescue Pro enables you to transfer the content from two (2) old computers to two (2) new computers.

1. PREPARATIONS ON YOUR OLD PC (SOURCE PC).

1. Make sure that all the applications to be transferred work properly, by running them to see if any errors occure.

2. Move all the data files you want to be transferred to the My Documents folder. Select the files and press Ctrl+X/Ctrl+C, go to the My Documents folder and press Ctrl+V.

3. Close all running programs (do not use applications during the extraction from source computer).

4. IMPORTANT: Restart your old computer before you start to use SoftRescue Pro.

2. PREPARATIONS ON YOUR NEW PC (TARGET PC).

1. Install all available Windows updates, by visiting www.windowsupdate.com

2. Install all hardware and system drivers, by using the CD/DVD that came with your computer.

3. IMPORTANT: Close all running programs (do not use applications during the restore to target computer).

Note! If the source PC suffers from corrupted Windows, are infected with certain rootkit or malware that damages the production of SoftRescue archive file, or if the system hard drive have damaged sectors, we cannot authorize a refund.
